Food/Soft Commodity Analyst- Top Investment bank recruitment
As a Global Food and Agricultural Strategist you will need to engage with priority clients in his/her sector by delivering thought leadership on key strategic questions, develop value added research output beyond the periodicals and topics on the back of research and client meetings. Therefore requires a specific candidate who has a background in publishing research on the food and agricultural sectors. The team currently consists of several junior research analysts, which you have responsibility for mentoring and guiding through the publication process.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivery of the global sector research agenda by coordinating the Food and Agricultural analysts, research, output projects in the global sector team.
- Build and update financial models on companies within the sector
- Create and maintain detailed information databases and valuation comparables
- Publish reports on the food sector
- Identifies the research question, based on global trends and dynamics or specific questions from MA or Risk Management
- Prepare pre-results and post results updates on companies
- Develop relationships with internal and external clients including company IR departments
- Work closely with both the editorial and sales team to ensure high quality research is being produced
This high demanding position will give the candidate the opportunity to work directly with the Global Head and Regional Manager of Food and Agriculture Research
Skills Required:
- CFA, MBA or ACA Qualification preferable
- Experience building and maintaining financial models
- Excellent academics
- 10 -15 years of research and consultancy experience in the FA business
- 2 years of working in an international environment
