Position Description
Forecast/Demand Planning Analyst
- To forecast customers' demands and POS
- To create feasible demand and shipping plans minimizing costs and airfreights.
- To manage inventory levels in the supply chain meeting established targets.
- To plan effectively new product introduction and product transitions.
- To manage excess and obsolete with the target of reducing the levels of non active inventory.
- To collaborate in all actions to improve customer service, quality and cost required by any other area of the company.
- To work closely with all other operational areas (sales, marketing, imports, warehousing, compliance, engineering and quality) to coordinate smooth efficient performance.
- To prepare all necessary reports for other areas of the company.
- To interact with customers as a business partner that enables the company's smooth business and growth.
- To represent the company before customers providing a professional look for our company.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively in a cross functional environment with other planners, customers, vendors, sales and marketing, and other personnel.
- Professional approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- ERP system experiences a MUST and strong ADVANCED level excel skills.
- Working with computerized forecasting modules strongly preferred.
- Consumer goods products background a plus, as well as working with major US retailers.
