The Forecasting Manager is to provide breweries with timely and accurate demand forecasts. Responsibilities include:
- Following and enhancing demand planning processes, working with advanced demand planning tool
- Maintain and monitor weekly and monthly forecast vs. orders
- Conduct monthly Consensus Meetings with Regional Sales Directors
- Interact with Commercial and cross functional units to ensure viable forecasts
- Analysis of forecasts in order to uncover gaps or poor forecasts
- Communicate forecasting gaps to sales and operations
- Notify breweries of large variances to forecast in time for reaction
- Participation in supply chain meetings to monitor and improve processes
Accountabilities include:
- Forecast generation, maintenance and overall accuracy on base, promotion and new products adding market intelligence to ensure our products are available on shelf at point of purchase
- Communication and interaction with cross functional areas
- Weekly Sales Operational Planning Meeting participation
- Respective data tools and process maintenance
Education: Bachelor’s degree is required
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of forecasting experience required, preferable with consumer beer or packaged goods marketing experience
- Experience leading employees and/or clients and influencing outcomes
Technical competencies:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skill set
- Advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Office with Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of SAP and advance planning tools a plus
