Job Summary
Bupa Health and Wellbeing are seeking a Forecasting, Scheduling and MI Analyst to join our commercially astute MI Planning team based in Salford Quays or Staines. You will support the delivery of operational plans, to deliver Bupa’s grade of service across all areas of BHW, meeting the needs of our customers and optimising resource in line with BHW strategic direction. The role is integral in supporting the Forecasting, Scheduling and MI Specialists in the delivery of the planning of advisor schedules which best meet the needs of Bupa’s customer demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing the operation with a best fit schedule of planned activities which deliver appropriate shrinkage levels in line with the long and short term plans.
- Maintaining workforce management data to ensure accuracy of data from a people and infrastructure perspective.
- Releasing future advisor schedules to Bupa employee’s within defined timeframes ensuring ‘fairness’ for our people in terms of weekend and evening working.
- Acquiring data from source systems and producing a range of scheduled and ad-hoc MI for a wide business audience to Director level.
- Ensuring work meets the customer’s business needs, is timely, clear and accurate, effectively presented and easy to interpret.
- Supporting the operation on the day feeding back variance to forecast metrics.
- Providing strategic options to improve performance position.
- Producing daily summary reports for Customer Service managers and STM’s.
- Acting as cover for the Forecasting / Scheduling and MI Specialist when unavailable.
- Continuously reviewing our processes considering the impact we have on our BHW colleagues.
- Working with the telephony team to understand and maintain demand routing diagrams to guide strategic decisions on operational performance improvement.
- Producing timely and accurate hierarchical reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis detailing advisor performance and the tiers above.
- Ensuring the operation has the resource planning tools, training, and knowledge they require to undertake their roles.
Specific Skills
- Experience of operating within a Resource Planning team.
- Good numerical reasoning, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience of gathering, interpreting and presenting information / data or using an industry standard WFM application.
- General experience of Microsoft Applications is preferred, although not essential, as training will be provided, however evidence of a high level of competence in using systems is essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective listening and questioning skills.
- A strong team player with the ability to work under own initiative.
- A high degree of energy, drive and enthusiasm.
