Foreign Exchange Relationship Manager – Sales / Trader recruitment

We are currently seeking an experienced FX Senior Relationship Manager (Sales/Trader) to join our Hong Kong team. The new RM will be involved in all aspects of pricing, management and development of current asset manager client relationships, and will also be expected to identify and bring in new relationships. The new RM will have significant responsibility and influence within the team with the aim of growing BBH's overall FX business in Asia outside of Japan to become a significant contributor to the profitability of BBH's global FX team. In time the role should develop to include strategic business planning in the region, contributing to global FX business strategy, and the assumption of management responsibilities in the Hong Kong team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7-plus years experience in the industry, minimum 5-plus years FX sales/trading.
- Extensive experience working in Hong Kong/Singapore
- English (required), Mandarin and or another Asian Language a must
- Experience working with and being responsible for Asian asset manager clients ('real money') preferred
- Responsible for a current book of FX business
- Proven sales and relationship management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills with strong communications and presentation skills
- Extensive experience with international currency markets, including impact of economic and political factors
- Extensive experience with foreign exchange trading instruments
- Knowledge of emerging trends in the industry
- Strong ability to make sound business decisions, under pressure.
- Creative problem solving skills with the ability to quickly identify, recommend, and implement solutions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work in Hong Kong preferred
