Forensic and Investigation Senior Manager recruitment
As the Forensic and Investigation Senior Manager you will carry out and take responsibility for forensic accounting assignments and in doing so you will ensure that the client’s expectations are exceeded through the provision of a quality product within an agreed budget and timescale. You will also be involved in all aspects of FIS including business development activities. You will be a part of a dynamic team with ambitious objectives and your role will be to provide additional expertise to widen our offered services.
As the successful Forensic and Investigation Senior Manager, you will take responsibility for:
- Overseeing the terms and scope of an assignment.
- Managing conflict checks on prospective clients.
- Keeping up to date on key legal cases and concepts.
- Managing all aspects of cases, including scoping, budgeting, controlling work, report drafting and quality assurance.
- Liaising with client lawyers.
- Responsible for the research and review process following forensic principles.
- Analysing research and provide conclusions to partner.
- Producing exhibits and schedules.
- Preparing reports and statements/affidavits.
- Preparing for and conduct interviews with witnesses.
- Constructing damages calculations in business interruption/loss of profit claims.
- Reviewing audit files and working papers and provide a comprehensive conclusion as to quality of audit work and adherence to standards.
- Reviewing how accounting and auditing standards have been applied and opine as to the appropriateness.
- Supervising staff.
- Ensuring the team operates within the terms of the relevant regulations and tasks are undertaken to respond to specific regulations.
- Specific responsibilities will vary according to the assignment.
As the successful Forensic and Investigation Senior Manager, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualified accountant - ACA or equivalent (essential).
- Professional negligence and expert witness experience.
- Damage and loss of profits experience.
- Understands the role of a forensic accountant in civil and criminal processes.
- Up to date legislative and regulatory knowledge and ability to apply to the circumstances of a forensic case.
- Experience of supporting an expert through expert meeting and hearing.
- Experience in drafting complex expert reports (profit, negative or damages)
- Strong research skills.
- Able to convey opinions clearly to the FIS team and clients – both orally or in writing.
- Able to explain technical issues to non-accounting lawyers or third parties.

- Language skills preferred nut not essential.
- Computer literate.
- Strong public speaking and presentations skill.
