Job Summary:
RJ Lee Group is a full service material characterization company with a division specializing in forensic trace evidence analysis. RJ Lee Group is hiring a Forensic Scientist.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
The individual in this position will be part of a team that provides trace evidence analysis for the criminal forensic field. The individual will initially be responsible for the preparation, analysis, interpretation and testimony related to gunshot residue (GSR) analysis.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· BS or MS degree in Forensic Science, Chemistry, Biology or a related field with 1-2 years experience
· Ability to express technical information clearly, both orally and in writing
· Ability to testify and explain procedures and results to clients and juries
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Excellent attention to detail
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Ability to interface well with all client personnel in a highly professional manner
· Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
· Experience with Scanning Electron Microscopy methods of analysis are preferred.
