As a full time Forklift Operator for FP, your strong safety orientation and expertise behind the wheel of a forklift will pay off. You'll move, transfer and store product and keep an ongoing inventory of material availability and location. FP MFG will depend on you to keep product levels where they need to be. Your day will be fast-paced and interesting.

In this position you will:
* Perform shipping and receiving duties.
* Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production / storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
* Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the FP buyer.
* Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

You're perfectly at home on a forklift. Safety is second nature. And you know the value of following directions and being a team player. You have a current, valid forklift certification. Your warehouse experience includes cycle counting and dealing with physical inventories. And you're able to move quickly and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Are you interested? The ideal candidate will possess:
* Have a valid Forklift certificate (Counter Balance experience) and a good driving record.
* Be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips and enter into the computer the correct information to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database.
* Be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers.
* Be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
* Be familiar with the most common material handling equipment.
