Forklift/Plant Engineer 24k Bath/Bristol/Swindon Job in Bristol BS12BD, South West UK
My Client provides truck mounted forklifts for their Clients.
They are seeking to recruit additional service engineers to join their existing team in coping with a rapidly growing order book.
They are looking for an experienced field service engineer to cover the Bristol/Bath/Swindon area and would prefer to have someone living in or close to this area.
The ideal applicant will have a Plant or Agricultural background or have experience in servicing and repairing diesel forklifts. You must have good hydraulic and electrical experience and have the ability to self-diagnose machine faults / problems
The job will require you to service and repair the machines both in the workshop and out on site. You will also be required to perform PDI`s on new machines prior to delivery to the customer.
As well as the ability to work both on your own and as part of a team, you must be well mannered and a good communicator, as the job will involve dealing with customers. You will need to be flexible due to the need to attend call outs to customer breakdowns at short notice.
You can expect a good variety of work and very competitive pay rates. With regular opportunities for working overtime both in the week and weekends you can expect OTE in excess of £24k. Alternatively, subject to agreement, time off in lieu can be agreed for extra hours worked. 22 days annual holiday plus bank holidays. A fully equipped van will also be supplied. Product training will be provided onsite, and by attending offsite Dealer training courses.
