Formulation Chemist located in Los Angeles, CA! This is a One Year Contract Position, Monday through Thursday are 9 hours a day, and Fridays are 4 hours a day Duties: The person would be responsible for making laboratory sized batches of formulas on the laboratory bench according to formulation guidelines and formulator direction. Responsibilities would also include, but are not limited to filling product, cleaning glassware and sinks, assisting in stability samples, tracking raw materials, and ordering supplies. A working knowledge of lab safety, lab etiquette, laboratory instrumentation such as viscometers, pH meters, Mixers and Hotplates is a must. Requirements: Bachelors or higher in Chemistry with 1-3 years experience in cosmetic science field. Previous knowledge and experience of the cosmetic science field and Cosmetic formulation batching is preferred.
