POSITION:           Formulation Chemist 

LOCATION:         OH, Chardon

SUMMARY:

Researches and develops new anti-corrosive coating formulations. Experience with paint formulation and/or organo-metallic coatings is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops new technologies for the improvement of existing coatings as well as the creation of new coatings

Tests and verifies the performance of new developments using standardized test methods. Experience with ASTM, DIN, and ISO test methods is preferred

Maintains a research notebook detailing current findings

Coordinates testing efforts amongst different departments and offices

Writes clear, concise reports detailing research efforts

Occasional travel is required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Chemistry from an accredited four-year college or university is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Previous post-collegiate laboratory experience is a plus.
