Formulation Chemist Job in Midlands, Midlands Uk
An opportunity has arisen for a hands-on and motivated formulation scientist to join a multinational chemical manufacturer in their growing laboratories. Working with a wide range of products from personal care, household and industrial chemicals, my client has a global turnover of several hundred million.
They are looking for a candidate with a balance of experience and character, someone who is confident and creative in the laboratory and can manage their own projects.
The Role:
· Developing new products in accordance to customer demand whilst maintaining GLP
· Providing technical support on new products, and maintaining/updating existing products
· Some supplier or customer visits may be required
· Maintain awareness of current scientific advancements in the relevant industries
The Person:
· A Chemistry or Scientific Formulation graduate, preferably with some practical laboratory experience in a chemical or development industry
· Previous work with surfactants, solvent based products, detergents, emulsions and coatings is extremely beneficial, as is cosmetic formulation
This position is ideal for someone who is keen work across a broad range of products, gaining valuable experience in global industries.
