Churches of Christ Care has an excellent opportunity for a committed and caring worker to fill the challenging, yet rewarding role of Fostering Support Worker within our Pathways service, based in Townsville.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Supporting kinship and general foster care placements for children and young people
- Recruiting, training, supporting, and monitoring foster carers.
To succeed In this role you will Ideally need:
- Tertiary qualifications in social science/community services, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in working with children and young people in the child protection system
- A current drivers licence, blue card and LCS check, or the ability to obtain these, is a requirement.
