Foundation and Corporate Relations Coordinator Job in Los Angeles 90043, California US

 

We are currently seeking a Foundation and Corporate Relations Coordinator to work in our Development department to raise funds and build community awareness of Junior Blind from civic and community groups, foundations and individuals.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·       Manages Junior Blind’s fundraising campaigns among Employee Giving Groups and Community Groups such as Lions Clubs, Rotary Groups, etc.  Makes presentations and attends meetings as necessary, drafts proposals and special solicitations to these groups to meet annual revenue goal.

·        Oversees the Donor Tributes Program, creating Tribute letters and special acknowledgments. Promotes the program and strives to meet the agency's annual goal for Tribute gift income.

Assists the Department with Special Events, donor tours and donor solicitation as assigned.  Also serves as back up to the Development Associate, when necessary, helping with gift processing and gift entry.

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. Education:

a.       Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

 

  1. Experience:

a.                   Minimum of 2 years experience in a non-profit or related field.

b.                   Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

c.                   Proficiency in MS Office tools required; Raiser's Edge experience preferred
