Foundry Account Manager
Tyco Fire Protection Products (TFPP) is a business unit of Tyco Fire Products. We are a worldwide leader in saving lives and protecting property around the globe with our broad portfolio of chemical and water segment products for the fire suppression and building products industries. Within TFPP we design, manufacture, and distribute the highest quality products with market leading features for the Commercial, Residential, Storage, HVAC/Plumbing, and Food Service, Petroleum Oil Gas, Mining, and Marine markets. TFPP is a recognized leader in researching new technologies and developing innovative solutions for our customers. The business unit has approximately 3,200 employees with 15 manufacturing plants and 44 Distribution Branches in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Singapore, Shanghai, Canada, Latin America, and the US. TFPP is headquartered in Lansdale, PA.
TFPP is currently hiring a Foundry Account Manager to work in our Anniston Alabama Foundry. The Account Manager will be developing and implementing a specific business and sales plan targeting iron castings in incremental and diversified markets for the Anniston foundry; ensuring account profitability and meeting sales targets; serving as the primary account contact; providing account leadership. This position is focused on further development of the non-TFPP casting portion of that plant's business.
You will be responsible for:
Developing and managing new customers and relationships
Participating in developing account goals and business plan within targeted customer base
Conducting regular business performance and promotional strategy reviews
Effectively implement sales and marketing strategies
Effectively monitor and communicate category performance (actual versus plan)
Primary interface with the plant's manufacturers representatives
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Extensive knowledge of the foundry industry, preferably iron castings.
A good understanding the foundry sales cycle
Ability to work with customers using DFSS
Ability to communicate total value cast-part concept
Fostering customer relationships.
Coordinate strategic
Coordinating new work launches
Develop and manage other programs as needed
Demonstrate leadership internally across Tyco as well to external customer/accounts
Effective communication with senior leaders
Commitment to building strong business relationships with customer
Deliver quarterly business reviews to Mgt.
Must display strong critical thinking, problem skills, analytical skills
High-energy self-starter
Collaborative team player
Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written (Power Point/Excel)
Strong Business Acumen
Bachelors Degree or demonstrated equivalent competencies
10 years successful, results driven background
Have a proven track record of accomplishments and achievements in penetrating accounts and further driving business
