FP&A Controller-Fixed Term Contract

Excellent new job opportunity on a 9 month fixed term contract basis for a FPA Accountant to join this well known Manufacturing company based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
The Divisional Financial Planning Analysis Accountant roles principal objective is to provide critical analysis and support to the business.
From coordinating pipeline reviews with regional sales teams, to the forecasting/ budgeting of ongoing order-delivery (with associated revenue recognition)  and the reporting on progression of Orders against targets, this role is central to the tracking, consolidation, and reporting of Sales Order data to senior management, within the business.

KEY ACTIVITIES:
Pro-active ownership management of Sales Order Pipeline forecasting within the wider forecasting process.
Preparation analysis of sales demand and packing shipping data for budgetary forecasting purposes· Ownership, administration reporting on Order Receipting Order Books
Maintenance of the Sales Marketing database with order pricing information·
Ad hoc tasks will include evaluation of projects and preparation/review of financial analyses to support senior managers and decision makers with sales strategy and pricing.
Periodic preparation of Sales Operational Planning pack (inc. CRM analysis Divisional contribution breakdown)
To continuously challenge and improve the accuracy, range and presentation of financial and management information to provide high quality analytical support to the business and to highlight key risks to the Financial Controller whilst proactively streamlining consolidating ongoing processes.

Key qualifications, skills and experience required
Commercially minded, technically strong qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or similar).
Educated to degree standard or similar
Significant personal experience in planning and delivering change-management integration programmes
Strong analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, to develop maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders 
Possess high levels of drive and determination, to deliver to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment.

Other requirements
Experience in a sales/manufacturing environment would be desirable.
IT proficiency with strong spreadsheet and data modelling skills
Proactively drive improvements in standards and processes.
High level of attention to detail
Good computer system skills
Experience of using Hyperion, IFS and CRM would be advantageous.
