Major Responsibilities:
- (25%) Coordinate the 12 month rolling forecast and annual budget process. Assist GCM business segments in this process as needed.
- (20%) Prepare monthly financial statements to show unit and business segment performance. Communicate financial results and forecast/budget variances to GCM senior management and the Bank Finance Department.
- (20%) Perform financial analysis (i.e. funds transfer pricing analysis, GL reconciliation, accounting treatment, cost/benefit analysis, acquisition analysis, etc.).
- (15%) Coordinate the annual focal review, salary administration, and incentive payment process. Ensure incentive plans are administered as documented.
- (10%) Collaborate with GCM senior management and business segment managers to complete quarterly stress tests.
- (10%) Assist with related projects as assigned, ensure adequate tools are in place to support analysis, analyze payments and increases to ensure conformity with Bank policies, etc.
Professional Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Global Capital Markets and related products
- Highly desired for candidates to have come from a bank or financial institution
- BS/BA degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting
- CPA, MBA, or CFA highly desired
- 10 years of relevant experience with increasingly more complex responsibilities
- Requires management experience, strong written and oral communication skills, and demonstrated understanding accounting principles and finance concepts
- Proficiency in developing and utilizing PC based utilities, and in using company based accounting systems
- Knowledge of SQL and VBA desired
