FPA Manager

 

The FPA Manager will provide key insights into business performance, and provide analysis to support decision making.​ This position is located in Mundelein and will report to the CFO

 

Responsibilities:

·                     Support quarterly PL forecast assumptions, ensuring accuracy of financial results, appropriateness of future financial commitments, and explanations of variances to Plan.

·                     Work with CFO and financial leadership team on analysis of key issues as they arise (financial performance, sales margin, operating expenses, cash flow variance analysis)

·        Lead the coordination of the annual budgeting process

·        Work on the development operational reporting requirements and coordinate report creation

·        Monitor daily/weekly operational reports, proactively research material variances and communicate findings as necessary.

·        Provide ad-hoc and recurring analytic support for product planning, marketing, engineering resource planning, and corporate development.

·        Assist in market sizing, competitive analysis and industry

 

 

Requirements:

·         5-7 years experience

·         Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills.

·         Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.

·         Comfortable manipulating large sets of data and ability to highlight key trends metrics.

·         Solid presentation and written communication skills required.

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; MBA or CPA preferred.
