Key Accountabilities
Operational Support
- Provide the Support Service Business Partners with all their Financial Analysis requirements.
- Support IB’s finance front office initiatives, including financial analysis and operational decision making support processes in order to ensure consistency and sharing of best practices across the world.
Strategic Support
- Assist in financially constructing and evaluating IB’s Support Services strategic planning/budgeting and provide analytics to support management in making strategic decisions
- Develop forward looking and activity based financial analysis to provide insight into the division’s business plans
Global Finance Alignment
- Partner with Back Office finance team to ensure all relevant financial policies, procedures and controls are adhered to.
- Ensuring all support services, investments and deliverables are in line with IB expectations from a financial perspective
- Ensuring optimal use of available funds and balancing priorities
- Balancing the financial role from operational support activities
Main Requirements
- Degree level education, or equivalent with related experiences
- 1 Year + in an international role although Graduates welcome
- Demonstrable potential to lead operational / commercial accounting function
- Developed and enhanced planning and analysis procedures within a global environment, including reporting, budgeting, modelling, KPI’s, project accounting
- Experience using Oracle preferred but not a necessity
- Highly analytical, with demonstrable knowledge and aptitude in applying advanced analytical tools
- Potential to lead decision making with external internal customers (Directors and Managers)
- Excellent communication, partnership and teambuilding skills
- International mindset
- Potential to manage people
