POSITION SUMMARY
Design, develop, implement, and maintain operational systems, methods, and techniques to support Pricing and Yield Management activities and responsibilities in the field and at the regional and corporate levels. This includes development of metrics, generation and review of reports, pricing, and implementation of strategies across channels to maximize profitability by property and region. Regional Revenue Manager will be needed to provide daily and weekly training and communication to the General Managers. The travel requirements will include touring properties, regional meetings, and department meetings, up to 30%. The positions will office in the field for the region represented.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Develop, execute, analyze and measure pricing strategies and channel production by property and region
- Be able to communicate results and provide measured results to Vice President of Revenue Management and other Operations Vice Presidents
- Create profitable price points for all offers for the Sales department and Marketing promotions
- Influence the property managers to effectively implement pricing and strategy changes
- Build and maintain partnerships with the General Managers, Regional Sales Managers and Regional Vice Presidents
- Create ad-hoc reporting or tools to identify opportunities
- Effectively manage restrictions and settings (MLOS, Levels, Pricing) within NetRez (CRS)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide specific, actionable information to RVPs and General Managers that allow the company to maximize revenue
- Lead Operation’s initiatives to improve results that may trend negatively
- Provide action items and measure results on a weekly basis
- Communicate effectively best practices amongst peer group
- Forecast property revenues
- Understand and make decisions based on booking pace
- Participate in the budget process (Holidays, Special Events, Day of Week, etc…)
- Manage additional projects as needed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related field required
- At least 2-4 years of experience as a Revenue Manager
- Strong analytical experience
- Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Access
- Strong project management experience
- Independent and self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Time management
- Travel up to 30%
