As a Fraud Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:

Helping to maintain low levels of fraud and operational losses within the Equipment Finance Business.  The role sits within the risk management team reporting to the Vendor Risk Manager for Equipment Finance.

The incumbent would work closely with the underwriting team and be a key contact for New Business and Commercial Support. Key responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for maintaining low levels of operational loss in relation to fraud, AML (Anti Money Laundering), compliance and regulation.
• Perform all fraud checks across EF (Equipment Finance) portfolio – assessing proposed customers and suppliers in terms of potential fraud.
• Report all suspected and executed fraud through correct internal and external channels.
• Partake in Fraud Awareness campaigns to help maintain levels of vigilance of fraud within EF business.
• Perform AML checks on proposals to ensure identity of our customers and suppliers meets regulatory standards.
• Screen EF portfolio on a monthly basis to ensure regulatory standards are met on an on-going basis.
• Report any AML, compliance or regulatory issues to the relevant parties.
• Perform above tasks within SLA’s and in manner which drives profitable growth.

What we will be looking for in you:

Ideally degree qualified within a law, finance, economics or accounting degree or show the relevant required experience gained in industry

Knowledge of local regulatory requirements and ability to represent GE in interactions with representatives of regulatory agencies, if required.

Understand fraud, anti-money laundering and “know your customer” processes and procedures

Ideally you will have a strong vendor leasing model background and will have worked in a similar industry
