Fraud Data Analytics Manager recruitment
As an experienced data analyst, you will work to create and deliver business insight from Visa and member/external data to drive significant fraud management improvement in their payment card portfolios and/or to help them win, grow and retain business. It is expected these insights will be delivered in the form of standard reports, predictive models and interactive reporting, involving the use of SAS/SPSS, MicroStrategy and the normal MSOffice packages.
Additionally, as a key member of the delivery management team, you will endeavour to improve the overall delivery management process by streamlining and making efficiencies to the way requests are managed from start to finish.
This role will report into the VP, Product Risk and Fraud.
Essential Criteria
- The successful candidate is likely to have ideally at least 3 years experience as a data analyst working within a Fraud management function.
- Advanced analytical skills expert level skills with analytic tools and proven ability to build and deploy predictive models (preferably Fraud focussed)
- Experience using SQL and/or SAS to manipulate and extract large transactional data sets to support data driven business insights.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge between customer project requirements and delivery of final report/analytical outputs
- Financial Services industry experience
- Strong problem solving capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills
Desirable Criteria
- MicroStrategy (dashboard and report design that employs advance visualisations, i.e. Microstrategy BI designer).
- Fluency in one or more additional European languages.
- Ideally educated to degree level or beyond
