Responsibilities
Overall Job Purpose: In depth analysis on issuing and acquiring transactions in global portfolios with the purpose of identifying first party fraud, fraud trends, risk cases and risk trends. Analysis to be used in identifying leading edge technology solutions, rule enhancement, and process re-engineering opportunities which will in turn be presented to peers and senior management.
Key Accountabilities: Portfolio Analysis 65% Ability to source and link data from various warehouses and external partners. Use historical and current data and work closely with cross cluster teams and group to provide insight and recommendations on rules, new softwares and processes streamlining. Pre-Implementation Ownership 25% Clear articulation of recommendations via PowerPoint and presentations. Business requirement writeups Handoff to Change Delivery team Technology Research 10% Researching new technologies Engaging with and vetting suppliers
Person Specification: -4-year college degree in a quantitative discipline required. Masters degree preferred. 5+ years analytical or equivalent experience ¿ preferably in financial services. -Computer literacy/proficiency in data query tools such as SAS, SQL, Unix and MS Office. -Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills with proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information. -Strong communication skills ability to work independently. -Project management skills. -Credit card or acquiring experience strongly preferred, but not required. -Proven record in problem solving and business innovation. -Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fun and fast-paced environment.
