Freight Forwarder (German / Dutch Speaker) Job in London E14 9UD, London UK
Highways International are a specialist provider of transport and logistics solutions.
Due to continued growth we have an opportunity for an experienced Freight Forwarder (German/Dutch Speaking) to join our London team.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
Your responsibilities will include:
· To coordinate (by road) all shipments (full, part load and groupage) which are related to your markets of responsibility.
· To find for all such shipments the best, most suitable and most profitable transport and logistics solutions.
· To create and develop regular and reliable service lines between all your markets of responsibility.
· To prepare quotations and negotiate them with suppliers and clients.
To be able to perform the above tasks successfully:
· You must have experience (minimum 1 year) in Transport / Logistics industry.
· You must be very good negotiator and organizer.
· You must be reliable and very well organised.
· You must be target focused and results driven.
· You must have good general computer skills.
· Beside English you must speak German and/or Dutch.
