aap3 are a global IT organisation and we are setting up a team of bilingual IT Help Desk/Service Desk support people and immediately require a fluent French Dutch speaking IT professional person to join us at our offices on the outskirts of Southampton.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to expand on their existing IT support knowledge and assist with Problem Management, Change Management and ad hoc project work. You will be based at our head office in the Southampton Science Park and will be part of our exciting new bilingual IT support function.
The duties will include:
Deal with and resolve complex IT problems (up to 2nd line) for our international clients within desktop and office applications
To keep the customer and the team updated of progress and problem resolution using verbal and written communications in both French and Dutch
Support local users, across the allocated region, in all infrastructure related topics such as AD, Exchange, LAN, WAN and remote access
To build good working relationships and rapport with the client and the European and Global IT Support team.
To act as product champion in your area of technology and to pass this knowledge on to team members.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
Outstanding problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent telephone and communication skills.
Familiar with a wide range of IT equipment i.e. Microsoft Windows, IP, workstations, servers, network equipment, video, and fax and printer equipment.
Sound experience in AD, Exchange, server, storage systems and networking terms and equipment such as Cisco LAN WAN, router, hub and switch.
Knowledge and experience with Remedy case management.
100% fluency in the English, French and Dutch languages.
