The Role

We actively seek an exceptional and experienced individual to join our Implementation Services team within our professional services organization.  Our Implementation Services team leverages the extensive product and research knowledge of Moody's Analytics to help clients gain the full benefit of our software offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking ownership of the development process. Identify project risks, plan, organize and manage the deliverable across the development lifecycle, with “hands on” responsibilities as necessary. 

• Coordinate activities with external groups and Implementation Services, tracking progress of development against plan and budget. Alerting senior management of issues that might impact successful on-time / on-budget delivery.

• Coordination of post implementation support as necessary. Creation of proposals for new development efforts based upon initial deliverables.

• Managing the relationship with the client for the duration of the engagement. This includes managing the client’s expectations and managing the communication to and from the client. This also includes identifying client-side risks.

• Obtaining client acceptance upon successful completion of the project.

• Working as a member of the Pre-sales Team, offering liaison and consultation to the client to specify and determine requirements. Consulting peers, as well as Moody’s Analytics staff in other locations to estimate and cost projects and assisting Sales in contract negotiation

• Actively oversee and manage all functional requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, test plans and user acceptance tests for assigned projects.

• Responsible for communicating between internal and external technical teams throughout the projects lifecycle from pre-sales to inception, execution and close.

Qualifications/Experience

• Strong track record of successful and timely delivery of technical projects.

• Experience in planning complex multidisciplinary projects in a global and multicultural organization.

• Extensive project management experience, preferably within a financial institution of financial software organisation related to commercial credit risk. Experience in managing Regulatory Capital project would be desirable.

• Understanding of technical concepts, development techniques, operating systems and database subsystems such as Oracle and SQL Server.

• Proven problem solving skills in a technical environment.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate complex business and technical concepts to a senior audience.

• The ability to actively oversee and manage all Functional Requirements, Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, Test Plans and User Acceptance Testing for assigned projects.

• A strong client focused orientation with the drive and enthusiasm required to achieve results and assume customer satisfaction.

• Fluency in a second European language a strong advantage, French would be desirable.

• Position may require approximately 30 - 40% travel to client sites.
