French Speaking Customer Service Executive

Role Details:
French Linguist Customer Service Advisor - 6 month Fixed term contract
Location: Pudsey, Yorkshire
Salary: £17 260 (equivalent to £9.48 per hour)

The French speaking rescue claims handlers are responsible for the capture of customer data and instruction of service provision up to policy entitlement to our UK policy holders that have broken down abroad and need our assistance. They will also be the point of contact for follow-on customer activities and queries.

Key Accountabilities:
Accurate and relevant data capture during the fulfilment of a claim to allow for the instruction of the appropriate services
Manage follow on activity as appropriate
Manage the customer experience, ensuring adherence at all times to the principles of Treating the Customer Fairly (including Complaint Handling guidelines)
Manage instruction of services and suppliers to achieve effective cost control
Manage instruction of services and suppliers to achieve effective cost control
Proactively and professionally communicate with our customers and colleagues to manage expectations and achieve the appropriate outcome
Ownership and adherence to internal and external policies, procedures and governance, relating to our colleagues, shareholders and customers
Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to my role, in line with the company's risk framework
Develop self in order to maximise personal contribution to your role and to understand how it fits into the wider Claims operating model

Required Skills:
Ideally you will have previous experience in a phone based role such as Customer Service or in a Call Centre
Written and Verbal Fluent French and English is essential
Good interpersonal Skills
Excellent communicator
Patient and Calm
Able to work well under pressure
Good attention to detail

Hours of work - This business area is a 24/7 operation, the successful candidate would be required to work a mixture of shifts, including weekends. This could be between the hours of 7am - 10pm.
