Frequency Manager Job in Patuxent River, Maryland US
MTEQ, a woman-owned small business, has an opening for an experienced Frequency Manager to support our NAVAIR customer in our Patuxent River, Maryland office.
The Frequency Manager interfaces with Department of Defense frequency managers to coordinate and process Form DD1494s, spectrum availability and supportability. Frequency Assignments (SFAF), Temporary Frequency Assignments (TFA’s), authorizations to transmit, and Hazards of Radiation to Ordnance (HERO).
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Navy/Marine Corps spectrum management and working with the Navy Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC).
· Knowledge and experience using Spectrum XXI, Spectrum XXI On-Line (SXXI-O), Global Electromagnetic Spectrum Information System (GEMSIS), Coalition Joint Spectrum Management Planning Tool (CJSMPT), and the Equipment Location-Certification Information (EL CID) data base.
Requirements
Minimum education of AA or AS degree with 15 years of experience, or military electronics C school and 20 years of experience
BA or BS preferred with 10 years of related experience.
Military Communications Chief experience a plus.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense clearance is required.
