Front-End Business Intelligence Developer
An industry-leading software company focused in Mobile-to-Web Connectivity Technology is looking to hire a Front-End Developer to join their Analytics team. This Developer will be responsible for the full spectrum of Business Intelligence reporting development, including gathering business requirements and report / dashboard design.
Your Job Responsibilities will also include:
- Report composition through open source tools (MySQL, MongoDB, HTML, JavaScript, Highcharts).
- Tool development for Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing.
- Support BI team in ongoing development of all aspects of the BI and Data Warehouse infrastructure.

Requirements:
Volt Technical Resources is looking for the following requirements/qualifications for this Front-End Business Intelligence Developer position:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Software Development.
- Strong proficiency with SQL.
- Hands-on experience with non-relational databases (NoSQL - MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, etc.)
- Proficiency with Dynamic Web Technologies (e.g., HTML5, JavaScript).
- Demonstrated proficiency in BI Dashboard development and Data Visualization.
- Demonstrated understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing practices.
- Working knowledge of Open Source environments.
Required Soft Skills:
- Passion for BI and data driven application development.
- Comfortable in an Agile environment where ideas are shared and discussed.
Bonus Skills/Experience (Nice to Have Skills for this Position):
- Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields preferred.
- Experience with graphing libraries, such as Highcharts.
- Experience with Map Reduce frameworks is preferred.
- Helpers, Controller Plugins, etc. should be part of your day-to-day activity.
