Front end developer recruitment
Our client, an exciting new social media network site are looking for a dynamic 'front-end' web developer with JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 and Mobile, to join their digital media team.
The successful candidate will be involved in continually developing new sites and mobile web applications. As such they are looking for experience within JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 and Mobile.
In addition, the following technical skills are not required but would be to the successful candidate's advantage:
- AMD/Modular JavaScript (using either RequireJs or Curl as the AMD loader)
- Performance and optimisation experience/knowledge
- Efficient loading of page assets
- Validating and linting your code
- Target the key rules of YSlow and Google Page Speed.
- CSS spriting
- JavaScript optimisation
- Regular Expressions
- Understand the MVC design pattern (and/or other design patterns) and how/when to utilise them
