Bloomberg NEF requires a confident, enthusiastic developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit allowing them to work directly with our business managers to specify, develop and deliver new functionality. This person will be working on the full software project lifecycle in an agile environment.

Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) is the world's leading provider of research to investors in renewable energy, biofuels, low-carbon technologies and the carbon markets. The company's research staff of 50 (based in London, Washington, New York, Beijing, Shanghai, New Delhi, Tel Aviv and Perth) tracks deal flow in venture capital, private equity, MA, public markets, asset finance and carbon credits around the world.

Working in a global, corporate environment, you will bring some front-end expertise to a highly skilled web development team mostly consisting of back-end programmers. You will be passionate about new technologies and always looking for creative new ways to tackle problems. The exact skillset required for this role is reasonably flexible. The role will be split between maintenance of older sections, fixing bugs and inconsistencies and also in creating new sections and features for the website.
