This role is working for a successful top tier bank in a front office advisory position at VP level. This client has a sales team which sells various structured products across different asset classes to institutional and retail clients via third party companies. This role is offering compliance advisory and compliance support to this team.
The role involves the following responsibilities:
• Compliance advisory to sales teams and other business units
• Drafting and improving of policies and improving procedures
• Advising on new product approval
• Advising on financial promotions and marketing
• Supplying MI to senior stakeholders
• Informing business units of regulatory development
• Enhancing the current training platform to ensure everyone is as compliance friendly as possible
The successful candidate will be coming from an investment banking background with significant amounts of front office compliance advisory experience, ideally gained across a combination of fixed income, equities, commodities, FX and credit. Knowledge of structured products and retail distribution would be very advantageous.
