Front Office Analyst Developer Team Lead – Fund Manager
My client is a leading fund manager based in the City of London. They have now released a rare opportunity to join their dynamic front office development team lead, facing off to management, developers, traders, and operations.
This is an opportunity that does not come around often and it’s a position that requires an extremely switched on and sharp individual that can take control and manage a team of developers.
My client is large enough to give a person scope but small enough to make quick changes. You will be joining a friendly and collaborative environment that has a fantastic work/life balance.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the design, architecture and development an end-to-end solution for provisioning, storing, and distributing derivatives data at either end of the investment process
• Act as line manager and mentor to the development team
• Take ownership of system from design through implementation and follow and support the full project lifecycle
Experience:
• Demonstrable experience in leading a small IT team
• Demonstrable track record of working within a front office environment within Asset Management or financial services
• Strong derivatives knowledge
• Experience of the full project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through to implementation and on-going support
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing requirements and tight deadlines
• Team player building strong relationships with team and business clients
Key Skills:
• Expert in C# - specifically server and data side
• Strong data modelling and SQL skills
• Experienced in multi-threading processes
• Very good knowledge with derivatives especially OTC derivatives
• Iterative development style - Agile
• Ability to relate/communicate effectively to all levels of associates - management, developers, traders, and operations
