Front Office C# Developer on Algo/Electronic Trading Team (110 – 130 base, 150+ total comp) recruitment
This is a great role for a sharp, versatile technologist from outside of finance or from another area of finance to break into the red-hot world of algo trading. One of the top banks in the space is expanding its algo trading desk and needs a developer with strong C# skills (Java and C++ developers willing to make the switch may be considered), good communications, and plenty of smarts, to support the desk by working with users and rapidly developing applications to solve critical business needs.
The ideal candidate would have most or all of the following:
• At least 5 years of experience with C#/.NET application development.
• Knowledge of Windows operating system with understanding of Linux.
• Understanding of relational databases and experience with Oracle Sybase.
• Knowledge of multi-threaded programming.
• Experience developing applications using DevExpress controls.
• Working knowledge of messaging middleware: TIBCO EMS, Informatica LBM/UME.
• Experience with networking protocols: TCP/IP and UDP.
