A leading Investment Bank has an urgent requirement for someone to join it's Front Office Application Support team in Cash Equities.
You will be responsible for supporting the Front-end Sales Trading GUIs, Order Management, Connectivity to downstream components and Intra-day Risk Management.
Although only Front Office Order management Risk systems are supported, the candidate should have a good understanding of Execution systems (Algos / SORs), Market Data, Exchange/Client Connectivity Middle office allocation/booking.
The technical skills are predominantely Unix, SQL and Perl scripting. Experience in these and of supporting a similar environment are key. There will be exposure to FIX connectivity in this role.
The role is open to anyone who has good problem solving skills with good experience of incident and problem management.
