Front Office Delivery manager or Project manager in Global Equity Derivatives
Software Vendor, Equity Derivatives and Futures Options Trading Technology
Working within the Equity Derivatives trading technology you will undertake the responsibility of a delivery/project manager in deployment of the Equity Derivatives trading platform.
Your role is to interface with the technical teams of the client site to effectively run the project. You must have the ability to face clients, conduct regular client meetings and to orchestrate the resources to enable project delivery i.e. from how many business analysts will be required through to the required infrastructure.
The right person for the job should ideally have product knowledge in EQD and FO as you will be facing Business analysts and project managers in this space. You will also be in direct contact with heads of department within Investment banks.
Ability to face clients will be important along with excellent organisational skills (meetings, schedules, updates, resource orchestration).
You will be working with the product manager and derivatives expert, working with derivatives trading and a highly customisable trading system.
The key soft skills required will be energy, passion and motivation.
Responsibilities
Assist with analysis and fully understand customer requirements and how they can be met
Closely manage the scope of work and delivery in line with the contract.
Understand the impact of work on the customers business; manage the dependencies between customers so that a coherent delivery plan is ensured.
Work with the technical managers and teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Prioritise work in order to meet often aggressive timescales.
Requirements
Knowledge of derivatives trading systems
Experience in the equity or derivatives trading arena, in particular front-and middle-office operation, either in a business or technology role would be a distinct advantage
Front office project management
3-5 years experience
Project management track record (PMP advantageous or equivalent)
Solid experience of managing and delivering technical projects.
Front office deployment experience
Disciplined, focussed, responsible
Client facing, presentable and can represent the company at senior levels
