Front Office Developer for an expanding team within a large Investment Bank.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are working with a Tier One US Investment Bank. This is an interesting role for a developer as the candidate will be sat on the desk with the quants and traders and therefore able to get constant feedback on the software they have developed from the users it is designed for.
This will also provide valuable experience for any junior developers thinking about going into a quantitative research or strategist position.
Currently they are looking to expand steadily with one member. The candidate should have;
- 1+ years experience working within application development within a financial organization
- Experience with:
- C++ experience
- Experience with other programming languages is a benefit
- FX or Equities
- Low latency/high-frequency messaging/middleware handling
Experience with the following skills is desirable but not a requirement
- OMS/EMS or any real-time transaction management system
- BOOST and STL
- C++ Multi-threading
