Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on production support to the Equity Derivatives desk including 1/2 level support in Sophis
- Work with regional and global application development teams to ensure that new systems can be adequately supported
- Build trusted relationship with key stakeholders including negotiating SLAs/OLAs and other support elements
- Provide support status updates to key stakeholders
- Ensure continued integrity of the production environment through testing/reviewing all changes made by the technology team and maintaining up-to-date documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience providing application support at a reputable global bank / financial firm
- Strong knowledge in structured exotic derivatives
- Knowledge of Trading Systems like Sophis is needed
- Proficient in Unix/Linux, Windows, SQL, Database, Scripting, etc.
- Must come from a previous hands-on application support background
- Good understanding of ITIL methodologies
- Excellent communication skills; analytical skills
