Front Office Finance Business Partner recruitment
My client, a highly respected and successful Tier 1 Investment Bank, is seeking a diligent and motivated Finance Business Partner to join their Front Office Cost Reporting team. This role sits within the Front Office Financial Decision Support team and focuses on business partnering Front Office COO's covering direct costs and headcount.
As a Senior AVP within Front Office Cost Reporting, your duties will include:
* Lead and manage the London based team of 2
* Perform a lead business partnering role to a wide range of the Front Office trading and channel businesses, with an emphasis on maintaining and developing strong relationships
* Responsible for reconciling month-end costs for £1bn annual cost base, ensuring that appropriate procedures/controls and processes are in place, are followed and developed to accurately report the costs of the businesses.
* Lead the budget and forecast process for an annual £1bn spend
* Present monthly results to the Front Office COO's and Business Heads
* Assist in the completion of medium term plans and business profitability schedules
* Work with Singapore based MI and Accounting Operations teams to increase efficiency and enhance processes
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with extensive experience managing senior stakeholders within Financial Services and who ideally has worked directly with the Front Office. You will have strong cost control and budgeting knowledge and feel comfortable presenting at a senior level. A broad commercial awareness and appreciation of business strategy/commercial consequences in addition to previous man management experience are both essential as this is a high profile position within the team.
