Front Office FX IT Application Support Analyst recruitment

City Based Investment Bank seek a Front Office FX IT Application Support Analyst. Business wise it is FX Spot, Forward, Swap deals, Order Execution and Pricing. Technical wise it is IT support experience including UNIX and Windows, SQL, Oracle. FIX Protocol, Middleware (TibCo, JMS and Nirvana), Networks (Firewall, Multicast and Broadcast), Authentication mechanisms (ClearTrust, Websso and LDAP), Event monitoring setup with ITIL Awareness. Reporting to the Global Production Services Manager, the role will need the candidate to work in the Global eCommerce Support team in London focusing on but not limited to FX offerings. They will be providing a high level of service to end users across the Business and also ensure key IT driven initiatives are successful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident Problem Management – Ensuring all issues are captured, managed and resolved in a timely manner

• Change Release Management – Ensure standard best practice guidelines are adhered to (testing, approval, releases)

• Systems Capacity Performance – Ensure sufficient capacity is maintained on all systems provided for stability and growth

• Business Continuity  - Working with the global team, make sure all relevant systems are available in a BC Scenario

• Minor Works – Involvement in mini projects to perform Non Code Dependant upgrades (i.e. vendor based, Database versions)
