Front Office Governance Business Manager
Are you looking for an opportunity to use your business skills in a front office environment? We are searching for people with product knowledge in equity or fixed income who are currently in the middle office, market risk, operational risk or product control space who are looking for a role to either enter into a business manager style position or who are already in a business manager role - ideally with some perspective on operational risk or business risk control.
This role will have oversight of all product lines globally and will work closely with our existing Finance, Risk, Product Control, Ops and Front Office Management teams.
You will be expected to Monitor the metrics and MI required to measure adherence to control standards relating to Inappropriate Trading Risk
Analyse metrics and MI to understand patterns and irregularities, drive trade capture and inappropriate trading control standard improvement
Monitor adherence to the Trade capture control standards from Front Office to Back Office
Regional support to other regions
Assist with the production of the Regional Global ad hoc queries that need to be prioritised.
Background:
*Relevant experience working in investment banking within an Operations or Control Function that could include Product Control, Middle Office, Trade Support, Operational Risk, Internal Audit or other Risk function (Market, Credit, Compliance or Security and Fraud).
*A good knowledge of the Fixed Income Products
*Excellent communication skills influencing skills and confidence to deal with senior people
