Front Office IT Business Analyst – Fixed Income – Fund Manager
Front Office Business Analyst with good Fixed Income experience is required by a leading London-based Fund Manager (Fixed Income, Bonds, Gilts, Rates, Credit, BA, FO)
This role has come about due to the large and increasing volume of work across front and middle office IT.
This team is tasked with delivering a range of IT solutions primarily for the Investment functions within the company. The team consists of managers, analysts and developers who manage and deliver IT projects and solutions across the range of investment systems.
This responsibilities of the role will be:
- To undertake business analysis and prototyping / implementation of ongoing and new initiatives within the Fixed Income division (Risk Exposure Reporting /Analytics Provision / Performance Attribution / implementation of Third Party Risk applications).
- To build a strong working relationship with key stakeholders to ensure delivery is in line with the strategic direction for Investment Fixed Income systems.
- To ensure appropriate identification of business requirements / needs and to provide effective solutions in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Work with other groups within IT as needed to ensure the effective support and delivery.
Required:
- Strong IT Business Analysis experience
- Strong Fixed Income experience
- Front / middle office experience in either a Fund Manager or an Investment Bank
- Fantastic communication skills
Beneficial:
- Derivatives experience
- Experience with any of the following: Factset, Bloomberg, Charles River, Simcorp Dimension, B-One, Thinkfolio, Latent Zero
- Some exposure to middle/back office areas such as Portfolio Accounting
