Front Office IT / FX Trading Assistant recruitment
The successful candidate will play a key role supporting all aspects of our electronic trading systems, including system integrity monitoring, pnl and trades reconciliation and liaising with our IT and network team to ensure real-time resolution of all connectivity and trading platforms issues. Additionally, the candidate will work with IT and the portfolio manager to maintain and improve our development framework and daily processes. As trading is conducted 24 x 5, Sunday 5 PM - Friday 5 PM Eastern, work will be divided between day shifts (7 AM - 4 PM Eastern, approx. 3 times a week) and evening shifts (5 PM - 2 AM Eastern, approx. 2 times a week

Duties:
- Monitor live trading systems
- Monitor status of trading platforms and market data feeds
- Reconciliation of trades and pnl with prime broker and firm systems
- Develop and monitor live data recorders
- Develop monitoring tools (GUI,...)
- Improve daily start-up and shutdown processes
- Develop and maintain tools to process market data and trading logs.
Skills required:
- 1 year experience in similar role
- Degree in computer science, finance, business, engineering or similar
- Excellent Perl skills
- C++
- FIX knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of FX ECNs (EBS, Reuters, etc.) a plus
- Good verbal and analytical skills
