Front Office Java Developer for a Greenfield Risk project using latest Caching technologies, Investment Bank, London recruitment
A European Investment Bank is seeking a Java Developer to join their elite Risk team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the business users across a variety of different business areas on a Greenfield project set to span several years. In order to understand and clarify requirements, analyse a system, business processes, data and interfaces.
The ideal applicant will be a Java Developer with excellent database knowledge whom is ready and able to contribute to the implementation of tactical projects whilst working closely with the users. The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent Core Java/J2SE experience in a high pressured environment
- Solid Database experience
- Prior Investment Banking experience is required (ideally Market Risk or Counter Party Risk, etc)
- Understanding of Agile
- Any knowledge of Caching technologies including Gigaspaces, Oracle Coherence, etc would be hugely beneficial
