Front Office Legal Role for Prime Services/Funds Lawyer- Hong Kong recruitment
An excellent opportunity exists for a prime services/funds lawyer to join the team that consults to the prime services team of this global investment bank. Prime Services covers traditional prime brokerage, delta one, listed derivatives and management lending.
The team is looking to recruit a lawyer to advise the business on the range of legal and regulatory issues that impact them. The role will involve the creation and implementation of a strategy and structure to provide the best legal and regulatory solutions to the needs of the prime services team, and will have responsibility for day to day risk management. They will also have day to day responsibility for matters that require legal or regulatory advocacy.
The successful candidate will have ideally between five and eight years legal experience within a financial services team of a law firm and/or prime services team at an investment bank. Candidates with hedge funds experience are particularly sought after. Most important is a high level of commercial acumen to step into a front facing role in a leading investment bank, which should be both challenging and also rewarding.
