A leading global investment bank are looking for credit focussed product controllers to join their high performing market risk team. My client has moved a large proportion of their operations group from London to Singapore and is now looking to expand this newly formed team. This presents a fantastic opportunity to gained accelerated career development and, due to the exposure to front office, excellent career mobility.

The successful candidate is likely to have the following background/skill set:
- 1-2 years relevant experience within a leading investment bank.
- Excellent derivatives knowledge.
- The desire to gain a thorough understanding of the business and work in the challenging front office environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confident with the traders.
- Daily PL production process, including commentaries, explanation of Actual vs. Flash PL variances.
- Ensure the maintenance of a rigorous control environment, including preparation, understanding and posting adjustments, review and analysis of new deals and amendments, FOBO reconciliations, trader mandate monitoring, stop loss monitoring.
- Production of weekly and monthly MIS reporting to senior management
- Production of various analysis and ad-hoc reporting requested by Business and other finance groups
- Manage process of introducing new products and structures to be traded by Business, which involves working with relevant parties to identify and resolve potential system, valuation, accounting, risk, regulatory etc issues. Ensure a smooth and rigorous process to support the new products, with necessary controls in place.
- Manage projects supporting geographical expansion, global strategic migration and other ad-hoc projects. Ensure PCG requirements are met, smooth UAT process and timely delivery of project deliverables. Require working collaboratively with other infrastructure groups.
- Process development through maintenance of updated documentation and improvements to bring about greater efficiency and control.
