Front Office Project Manager recruitment
The Project Manager will have the responsibility of acting as the central point of contact for clients during the implementation of the project.
Projects can vary significantly in size, from short FIX onboarding projects at one end, to complete regional/global order management systems and exchange connectivity at the other.
The project manager also acts as a product specialist, to advise the client on the best practices for the use and configuration of Trading and Client Connectivity products, including but not limited to order routing, order management and portfolio management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist new or existing clients with the implementation of the front office solutions.
- Work with development and operations staff to service new and existing customers.
- Provide management with regular detailed report on ongoing implementations.
- Prepared to travel on occasion to client locations internationally in South East Asia and India.
- When appropriate, deliver effective sales effort to help meet sales objectives.
Key Experiences
- At least 6 years of professional services experience serving the Broker Dealer / Financial Services technology community in the Front Office, of which at least 2 years should have been as a project lead.
- Equities and equity derivatives exposure is highly desirable.
- Prior Project Management, Relationship Management Customer Service experience, business to business required.
- Experience interacting with mid- and senior-level managers within financial organizations.
- Strong exposure to formal project management practices highly desirable. In particular, PMP certification, with subsequent PM experience, will be regarded highly.

- Unix/Linux – command line and scripting (Perl, bash)
- Network, TCP/IP
- Oracle or other RDBMS
- FIX protocol (4.2, 4.4, 5.0)
