Front Office RAD Developer with a Leading Financial Institution recruitment
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for the full development life cycle, from the user requirement gathering to the implementation and support of Java Applications
* Interact with Traders to gather user requirements and rapidly design and develop front-office desk-based tools which bridges back to core technology systems
* Responsible for ensuring standards and guidelines are met and adhered to, security control maintenance and on-going support to users
* Provide temporal short-term solutions based on RAD methodologies
* Provide 2nd line support to the local support teams and manage escalation as necessary to the global development teams
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor Degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
* Strong core Java and Object Oriented programming skills
* At least 2 years development experience within banking and financial sector
* Strong Financial Markets knowledge, especially Equity Derivatives structured products
* Hands on technical skills in Java, SQL J2EE, JSP, Javascript, Spring and Oracle Database
* Proven working experience in front office development and support environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated and proactive team player
