Our client, a leading global financial firm is looking for a strong developer with front office risk analytics or quantitative background to join their fast-growing rates team in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
- Participate and lead strategic multi-year projects to build a new strategic cross-asset derivatives platform
- Work closely with strategists/quants and other business users
- Develop scalable, optimized components for cross-asset risk computation
- Assist in design and valuation of financial assets
- Analyze and optimize performance of intra-day and end of day risk computation
- Provide support for risk engine, resolve production issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Excellent development skills in java, c++, Scala
- Experience with building, delivering business critical financial systems (valuation/risk experience preferable) and libraries
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new programming languages
- Front office derivative development and/or quantitative development experience is preferred
- Exposure to financial valuation and risk methodologies is preferred
- Experience with risk computation optimization
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong team working ability in local and global teams
