Front Office Senior C# developer - Contract- Global Hedge Fund
Opportunity to work on the trading desk of an established hedge fund. The successful candidate will be sat on the trading floor of this large, established hedge fund. You will work closely with and for the desk, but with close interaction with senior members of IT who will provide direction and help in requirements analysis and management of user-expectations. It is expected that applicants have the personal attributes and interest to work in a fast-paced, busy front office environment. Experience of Portfolio Management, derivatives trading (fixed income, interest rate, credit), pricing and/or market risk management is considered relevant. From a technical point of view, candidates are expected to have experience of developing real time, multi-threaded client-server systems using C# / .NET 3.5 , 4.0. Applicants are expected to have good knowledge of WCF, WPF, Winforms, SQL Server, Visual Studio 2010, but applications from candidates with relevant sub-sets of the above referenced technical skills are also welcome.
